Anna Saez
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Anna has over 25 years of experience in financial accountability and is an advocate for expanding financial awareness and prudent investing. She has helped clients understand their current financial position, comply with tax and other requirements, and plan for a more prosperous future. She began her career over 25 years ago as a CPA in Chicago, IL working on financial and tax matters. Her move to the DMV area was fruitful, attaining a manger role at the Federal Reserve Board and moving on to serve as a deputy assistant director for a Department of Defense agency. Rounding out her experiences, she managed tax, investment and financial functions for a closely held technology company. She also proudly served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Dedicated to her community, she has served on boards as Treasurer and as a member of the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, providing tax preparation services to underserved and moderate-income taxpayers.
Anna holds an MS in Accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Touro University International. She earned a Leadership Certificate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Leadership for a Democratic Society Program from OPM’s Federal Executive Institute.
She lives in Old Town Alexandria, VA with her husband who both enjoy active travel, such as completing the 500-mile Camino de Santiago and climbing Kilimanjaro.
